On July 6, 2023, the Department of Social Development Science and Technology under the Ministry of Science and Technology officially released an announcement regarding the "Catalogue of National Advanced Green and Low-Carbon Technologies." The catalogue features a total of 87 technological achievements across six key areas, among which Southern Environmental Protection's "Underground Wastewater Treatment Plant Odor Control Biotechnology" was selected as one of the 15 cutting-edge innovations in the field of atmospheric pollution control.

During the conference, awards were presented to the organizations that won the "2019 China Federation of Industry and Commerce Science and Technology Award."
