The kitchen waste pre-processing workshop has a strong odor—how can we improve this?
Release Time:
2025-02-14
The project's original odor-control system failed to fully adapt to the current workshop conditions, resulting in less-than-expected odor removal performance. As a result, air quality inside the workshop, along the visitor corridors in the factory area, and at the厂区 boundaries still needs improvement. Southern Environmental Protection is now conducting an in-depth design of the odor-control system process, tailored specifically to the actual conditions of the workshop.
I. Project Background
The project's original odor-control system failed to fully adapt to the current workshop conditions, resulting in odor removal performance that fell short of expectations. As a result, air quality inside the workshop, in the厂区参观 corridors, and along the厂区 boundaries still requires improvement.
Southern Environmental Protection has launched an in-depth design of the odor-control system process, tailored to the actual conditions of the workshop.
II. Deodorization System
1. Odor Source Identification
Analyze and evaluate the pollution sources in the workshop, identifying that the primary odor-causing components include hydrogen sulfide, methyl mercaptan, trimethylamine, sulfides, and other impurities such as dust.
3. Airflow Organization
· Zone control, rational piping layout, and efficient collection
· Maintain slight negative pressure collection to prevent odor from escaping
· The workshop is equipped with a fresh-air supply system to further enhance the working environment.
IV. End-of-Line Processing
Partitioning, differentiated collection, and treatment ensure efficient odor control and compliance with emission standards.
Low-Concentration Odor Treatment
Collection Scope: Pre-processing Workshop, Unloading Hall
Processing method: Water washing + Biofilter
Air handling capacity: 60,000 m³/h
High-Concentration Odor Treatment
Collection scope: Inside equipment such as tanks in the pretreatment workshop
Processing methods: Alkali scrubber + water wash + biofilter
Airflow capacity: 6000 m³/h
V. Project Implementation
This project was carried out indoors, in a workshop with intricate existing wiring. The entire process involved construction without halting production, while facing significant space constraints, complex concurrent operations, and substantial construction challenges.
Our company's project execution team has strengthened safety and civilized construction measures, leveraging BIM technology to optimize the installation management plan. We’re simultaneously installing and adjusting the pipeline design on-site, minimizing the impact of concurrent operations and ensuring timely completion.
VI. Governance Outcomes
Southern Environmental Protection's odor treatment system is designed to handle fluctuating loads, promoting energy efficiency and reducing consumption. It features low operating costs, easy maintenance and management, and ensures zero secondary pollution, guaranteeing emissions meet regulatory standards. Under all operating conditions, the odor concentration at the exhaust stack remains below 1000 (dimensionless).
Southern Environmental Protection, with its professional technical solutions and high-quality products and services, has helped users effectively address the pain point of odor pollution, significantly improving the workshop's environmental quality.
