With an investment exceeding 100 million yuan, the first national engineering laboratory jointly established by Southern Environmental Protection and South China University of Technology has been approved.

Recently, the National Development and Reform Commission issued the "Reply on Establishing the National Engineering Laboratory for Technology and Equipment in Volatile Organic Compounds Pollution Control." The National Engineering Laboratory for Technology and Equipment in Volatile Organic Compounds Pollution Control, spearheaded by South China University of Technology, has officially been approved for establishment. This marks the only institution from Guangdong Province selected in this particular batch.
